What’s the best Christmas gift you've ever received?
The gifts that make me smile the most are the stocking fillers my family buy for each other, there's an in joke with my family to give the most ridiculous, useless things.
And the worst?
I was 18 and leaving home to take on the world and start university and my parents bought me a giant suitcase when what I really wanted was a cool, lightweight, versatile backpack like the Ariel 65L from Osprey!
For those struggling for inspiration this Christmas, what gift would you recommend for her?
Well, on my wish list would be a Snow Bob inflatable sledge, some North Face E-Tip gloves and a Gorillapod camera stand. That way when the snow comes I'll be all set for fun and it means no more cold fingers when I use my I-phone on the hill or on the bus.
And for him?
Keep your man warm this winter with the North Face Plasma. Insulated and waterproof it's a great winter jacket and during November we’re giving away a free I-pod shuffle with it.
What makes Edinburgh sparkle at Christmas?
I love being in the city at Christmas time. The German market and the big ferris wheel with the backdrop of the castle and a sprinkle of snow makes me feel like I'm inside a beautiful snow globe. Cheesy I know but that's me.
